WARNING - If you have any pains - especially in the chest area or difficulty in breathing - get them checked out by a professional medical person - don't be an idiot like me & ignore them!

A Quick Intro

I've put this website together to help anyone who has had or has got to have CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) surgery.

I've never been good at keeping a diary and I've been told that it is important to monitor your progress through the recovery after surgery - so I thought I'd 'try' to do it this way!

ALL of the things I write & publish on here are relevant to ME - you need to remember that EVERYONE is different, different life styles, different ages, different health issues, so no 2 journeys will be the same.

However, there will be lots of similarities, so hopefully everyone may get some tips, ideas & inspiration from all of my posts.

A bit more!

The idea of this site is to give the opportunity for people who get into the position of needing a similar operation to see the real life account of someone who's been through the journey. To accompany this journey I will also do a Facebook Page where I can initially upload live videos so that you can be on the actual journey with me!

Bear in mind - mine is only a Double Bypass - many have triple, quadruple or even quintuple so their recovery rates will vary. Also many other factors will affect recovery such as age, lifestyle (past, present & future), smoking or non smoking, other health issues and weight. I am not a medical person so any thoughts or ideas are just mine - do you own research and ALWAYS seek professional help from a medically qualified person if you encounter issues/concerns with your recovery.
